Hair masks are the best treat after long day in the lab, when you really need a good pamper. I have been using L’oreal pro-keratin refill hair mask for a while now and I am still enjoying it!
I really enjoy the feeling of my hair after the mask treatment, so I thought it is a time to cover the ingredients and to understand what makes L’oreal pro-keratin refill pretty good product
No doubt, the most important ingredients are definitely arginine, serine and glutamic acid that are amino acids essential for strong keratin structure or in a simple way make our hair stronger and less frizzy.
Another ingredient that caught my attention was Euterpe oleracea fruit extract (acai fruit), its great for hair conditioning and moisturising effect, in addition to other ingredients, this mask can provide strong conditioning and leave hair feeling more soft and shiny.
However, this product also has Methylparaben/ethylparaben that is a very well known preservative against fungus growth in cosmetic products. I do understand that some people might not be particularly keen using something with parabens, but the truth is that fungus that could grow inside cosmetic product could be a lot more dangerous then paraben itself.
I usually use hair mask once in two weeks , after I washed my hair with shampoo (no conditioner) and applying mask for additional 5-10min followed by rinsing semi-warm water. The smell of this product is pretty strong, slightly reminds of being in hair salon so I think some people might really like that.
Overall, I would rate this product 7.5/10 because of strength and moisture I can feel on my hair after using it. Have you tried L’oreal pro-keratin hair refill mask? Please let me know!
Have a wonderful day xx
