Protecting your hair from heat is the number one rule and I saw there has been a bit of buzz about new Garnier Ultimate blends heat protection milk – I believe it is a new product line that Garnier released.
My first impression was smell that I wasn’t too keen, even though I believe it is a personal choice, but apart from that easy to use and texture feels light on my hair.
Garnier Ultimate blend heat protection milk has Avena Sativa Kernel Extract/Oat kernel extract that add moisture to the hair, provide more protection and due to that it is easier to detangle hair. It also has Behentrimonium chloride, a very common ingredient in the hair products that controls frizz and add conditioning. There is also Oryza Sativa Starch/Rice Starch that again works as conditioning agent and add a bit of protection. However, it also has silicone amodimethicone, a very common one that will add a healthy shine to the hair.
Overall opinion – I do like this product, apart from strong smell, I think it is a good one to purchase, it is convenient , nice bottle, relatively cheap and paraben free. It does a good job protecting hair against heat styling and it helps to brush my wet hair. I would give this 7/10 and if you looking for a new heat protection I would suggest to try Garnier Ultimate blend heat protection milk if you don’t mind strong smell products.
Maybe you already tried it? What’s your opinion? Please let me know!
Have a wonderful day xx
