Finding the right shampoo is like finding the perfect moisturiser that you can always rely on. Recently, Label M – organic moisturising lemongrass shampoo entered my shower beauty cabinet and I hope it will last me for a while.
Label M is a shampoo rich in moisturising and anti-fungal ingredients good for the sensitive scalp. I got attracted to this product because of lemongrass is also known in the ingredients list as Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Extract. Lemongrass has been shown to work effectively as anti-fungal, which is great for those who suffer from dandruff (including me). In addition, Avena Sativa Oat Kernel Extract is also anti-fungal and can reduce greasiness, which means goodbye oily hair.
Label M shampoo is rich in conditioning ingredients that work well for damaged hair. The ingredients such as Jojoba oil, Hydrolysed Soya Protein, Pyrus Cydonia Seed Extract are one of the most common for improving hair health and providing all the moisture.
The shampoo is sulfate free and is replaced with cocoyl ingredients instead. Cocoyl is from coconut oil that is sometimes classified as a natural ingredient. Is it better for our scalp? Research suggests it is less irritant but it depends on hair and scalp type. Personally, time to time I use sulfate free products and I do like them.

My personal experience with this shampoo? Oh my how moisturising it is. Honestly, I was very impressed how soft and gentle my hair felt afterward. In addition, scalp felt clean, dandruff free and the most important not irritated. Of course, I use moisturising conditioner and oil during hair wash, but I also use different shampoos from time to time. After using Label M shampoo the softness of my hair was very distinctive and I was very pleased with the results.
Who should use it? I think it is great for those with sensitive scalp or very sun and styling damaged hair. Even though, I only tried Label M shampoo I am keen to try different products from this brand.
Have you tried any Label M products? Or maybe you are tempted now? Let me know!
