In this era of social media and countless blogs, getting hair or fashion inspiration is not that difficult. Yet, sometimes I find it hard to find the right websites that I am truly obsessed with. Personally, I love websites that give me some value, inspire me or teach me something. After all, this is my goal here, at Hairwonderfulday.
Anyway, I would like to share with you several websites that constantly inspire me. I do think that a good coffee should go together with a good reading during my day.
Luxyhair. This is the company that sells hair extensions, however the Instagram and Youtube channel focuses on showing different hair tutorials. Ironically, as a person who talks about hair a lot I am useless at styling my hair. Therefore, any help or inspiration is a must. Also, I am big fan of LuxyHair founders Mimi Ikonn and Alex Ikonn. They are always unbelievably positive, encouraging and just down to earth. If you are looking for hair tutorials this is place to go – LuxyHair.
Intothegloss. Where do I even start?! Firstly, I am huge fan of Emily Weiss, her attitude towards business development, ideas and understanding women are #goals. Secondly, Intothegloss top shelf posts are literally my therapy on a gloomy day. I love learning what celebrities use for their hair and skin, after all don’t we all want to know how to get that Miranda Kerr glow and beachy waves?! Also, their brand Glossier, which is now available in UK is like top shelf essentials and are certainly on my wishlist. I truly think you already know about awesome Intothegloss but if you don’t go have a look. Now.
IntheFrow. The founder of the blog IntheFrow Victoria is one of the best bloggers in this blogging industry. I still remember how I found her blog two years ago and since then it has became my ‘must to read’. Firstly, her style of blogging is just unbelievably fantastic and inspiring. Secondly, she also has a PhD from University of Manchester (total #girlboss). Third, her hair is amazing. Personally, I would never be brave to change my hair colour as drastically as she has done over the years, but she knows what she is doing. Also, all her makeup and hair tutorials are on point. She always looks so effortlessly chic and her hair from straight to curly to ponytail are #hairgoals.
For me inspiration is everywhere – nature, people in the streets, my friends, bloggers and everything around me. I love looking at others and learning from them because it not only teaches me to style my hair in a different way but also allows me to get to know myself better
